About Ren,

Ren was born in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois as a first generation Asian-American. She began her young career as a musician; competing and performing as a pianist since age 5, violin since age 7, and voice since age 14. These years in music performance led her to her love of acting - booking her first role as a young violinist in a nationally aired Samsung Galaxy SIII TV Commercial.

Combining her passions, Ren graduated with a B.A. in piano performance from USC’s Thornton School of Music with a second B.A. in theatre from the School of Dramatic Arts . Since then, she has been featured in a variety of short films, music videos, commercials, concerts, and on-stage plays.

Ren began her voice-over career in 2019, first as a dubbing artist. Since then, she has dubbed over 40 titles for Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. She is now a full-time voice over artist and actor, based in Los Angeles.

You can watch Ren now in the musical short, ‘Fine China’ which currently streams on HBOMax. Upcoming, Ren stars as an young and promising photographer who is going blind in ‘Where Can The Dust Alight’ - a short film set to premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.
